		<description>Wasn&#039;t there an incident in the early 90s as well - where one of the college principals/professors in Calcutta objected to women wearing jeans or even salwars to college, apparently since it was against the concept of a &#039;traditional Bengali  dress&#039;. He wanted the girls to be dressed up in sarees (funny he did not demand boys be dressed in dhotis...).</description>
