Reminds me of the book “The Club Dumas”… the name is strangely similar, and that book too, is about a murder investigation (at least, kind of…)
Looks interesting… let’s hope the college library gets it soon

I did read this author before.
Her protagonist was a forensic examiner who discovers that her biological parents were cousins and serial slashers.
It was a question of “you enjoy your work cutting dead flesh because of whose daughter you are”
That book raised interesting questions but the style of narration left me unsatisfied.
But, with your recommendation I will definitely be on the lookout for this one.

Nice review. Though I doubt I will read it hehe – somehow have gone past crime thrillers now . Once upon a time I used to live by them… and then it just stopped.
