I’ve never been to Hyderabad, but am still scared of Kishor and Rajnikanth. And Kamal Haasan too, for that matter.

I’m most scared of South Indian film heroines. Dreaming of them causes me to retain water. I think this is called a dry dream.

Gavaskar’s David Hookes reference was neither insensitive nor out of context. David Hookes is tertiary to this issue; it was actually a veiled reminder to Ponting himself of an embarrassment he suffered at a Calcutta nightclub many years ago. Sunny Baba knows how to make a personal attack without saying things directly. It was actually foolish of Ponting to retort the way he did.

I agree with Anuraag, Too much is being made out of what Gavaskar said. Read somewhere he actually ‘encouraged’ killing, is being hypocratic and what not… While the Borders, the Pontings etc., argue that swearing rudely should be seen with cultural sensitivitly, they do not even do the favor of trying to understand the context or what is actually being said. They read too much into whats not said, but ask others to take actual verbal abuses as a cultural side effect (or the culture itself?). Who is being hypocratic?

The way Sunny responded back was brilliant. And yes, his comment on Hookes was insensitive but he was driving home a point.

By the looks of it I am getting highly optimistic & think India will be in the Finals. That would make my day.
